Available iron sheets in Kenya come in plain, red, blue or green sheets.
Plain coloured are the cheapest, followed by blue. Green and Red are abit more expensive.

Prepainted Mabati can be used for roof cover and walling. For Wreheous type buildings, they are very good for walling. The profile can be box or curved. Box profile looks better in appearance.

Available gauges are gauge 30 and gauge 32.

Gauge 32 is 0.274 mm.
Gauge 30 is 0.315mm.

Gauge 30 is thicker than gauge 32, hence slightly more expensive.

Mabati iron sheet width can be in the size of 0.65m to 1.05m.
